Decanted about 20 minutes before the first pour. Presents as garnet with some bricking. Nose is heavy on blueberry and black cherry, with campfire and meatiness coming in after a little more air. Palate has nice dark and dried fruit on the attack, honey and spices on the midpalate, and honeyed raisin on the finish. Body is medium, and the tannins are refined and medium(-) intensity. Good stuff! Maybe a slight lack of depth, but the flavors are very refined …
