Having just had the Woodbridge chardonnay and now the Woodbridge cab it's hard not to think of Woodbridge and Woodford, the greatest doubles team ever, certainly far superior to this wine pair. Not a bad wine though. Actually, simple, but enjoyable. Juicy middle surrounded by complimentary leaf tobacco tannin. Upgraded my 89 to 90. Wouldnt mind another. Waiter...

Very dark ruby color; berry jam, coffee nose; berry jam palate with no mid palate and lowish acidity; short-medium finish (no breakdown for the '14, but the '11 had 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Merlot and 3% "other complementary varieties"; 13.5% alcohol)

Vin de semaine correct pour un prix modique. Rien d'exceptionnel.

From 187ml plastic bottle in a plastic cup aboard Amtrak. Twist and pour. Very dark ruby, no sediment (yeah, right). The nose at the pop was like a fart through some heavily-perfumed undies - a light mixture of methane and potpourri. The gas faded away quickly and left behind some soft cherry cola. The palate was also pretty disgusting at first, but it backed off to mere punishment. Medicinal profile with the same kind of fake sweetness that kids' medicine …

Reasonable representation of a traditional cab. Medium soft tanons, light oak, medium finish. Slight disintegration. Not great, but really not bad either.

Slightly fruity but dies fast. It's well worth the extra $1 to get Mondavi Private over this.

Interessante, surpreendeu positivamente. Belo nariz e com boa presença na boca. Cabernet californiano clássico. Vale a pena.

Well, shock the world. This stuff actually smells pretty good. It still smells like a factory concocted California red but, darn it, it smells like a good concocted California factory wine. The nose is fairly rich with sweet, toasty oak with a warm baking spice touch and concentrated berry fruit aromas with maybe a touch of something floral or earthy. I'm honestly impressed. Palate is ripe, soft and fruity, maybe faintly sweet, it doesn't exactly scream "Cab" so much as …

Smooth tannis, likely due to its 1999 vintage. Easy drinking, everyday table wine with moderate oak and tobacco and cherry overtones.

Dusty cassis on the nose. Cherry, cassis and oak dominate the flavor, but there are definitive notes of vegetation as well. Not terribly tasty. Balance is decent, and the finish is unfortunately long.

A bit past it's prime, but very mellow and drinkable. Strawberry and cherries, not much oak to speak of.

Bright ruby-garnet in color, with cinnamon and stewed fruit aromas. Vegetal, cherry, and cedar flavors. Though under $10, I still can't recommend as anything more than good QPR.

Holy crow this is terrible. I have had some bad wines before but none like this. The nose is sickly sweet and hot, it burns your nose just smelling this crap. The only thing you can taste on the palate is alcohol, if I was blindfolded I would think I was drinking some sort of disgusting liqueur. There is absolutely no fruit in this bottle whatsoever. The same burning sensation that attacks your nose appears again as this vile liquid …

Rather bland nose. The alcohol comes through more than anything. First sip is pretty smooth. Then the acidity shows it's teeth. I don't know, pretty good mouth feel to start, then finishes harshly and acidic. Could this be young tannins? Not sure. Definitely drinkable because of it's price point, but I have had better California Cab's.

This wine was purchased to make a beef stew. My wife and I each had a small glass. The wine was simple but with decent cabernet flavors with a hint of oak and spice. Nothing complex or great, but certainly nothing objectionable either. I don't know that I'd purchase this at home, but I'd enjoy it at a party or drink it at a restaurant if decently priced.

Perfectly passable for $6, heavy cherry notes. Wouldn't rush to buy another bottle, but wouldn't reject it in a pinch, either.

Il faut vraiment laisser ce vin respirer au moins 2 heures. Il devient tout à fait délicieux et perd de sa raideur initiale.
