GT wine magazine - top tasting - mcLaren Vale Reds (Oak Barrel, Elizabeth Street, Sydney) : Purple. Aromas of mint, eucalypt, herbaceous over blackcurrant, cream, slight beetroot, caramel, toasted oak and chocolate. In the mouth the wine has medium plus acid and tannin and subdued black fruit with hot alcohol on the finish. Bit meh.
