Consumed at home with roasted chicken. Bright disc. Deep-to-opaque garnet robe with brick rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of chocolate, plum, kirsch and tobacco. Medium-bodied on the palate, with low acidity and melted tannins. The flavors mirror the nose. Medium, smooth finish. Unexpectedly nice and a great match with the food!
