Please decant at LEAST 4 hours, and ideally more at this point. I found the wine overpowering (in a not good way) for the first few hours, and it was only after 4 hours on day one that it was enjoyable, and then it was great on day 2 after another hour or two of air. (it was vacuvinned overnight in the fridge between day 1 and 2). This wine will always be a monster, but air time is its …

Gave this about 3 hours in the decanter, and more was probably warranted. Really great bottle and everyone enjoyed. Big nose, simmering intensity on the palate that didn't punch me in the face with fruit. The tannins are softer than I'd expected and provide some very nice scaffolding. All those classic mourvedre flavors that you'd expect.

On the nose- True power and richness with some great elegance. 3 hour decant. Huge, beautiful fruit. No green pepper. Lots of WOWs and raised eyebrows from folks who had not experienced Andremily or the varietal before. Fantastic

Deep ruby purple in color. Needs some air to kick a bit of green bell pepper but then shows spice, minerality, and dark fruits. ABV is a bit high and noticeable. Overall not as put together at the moment as my last bottle closer to release. Will hang on to remaining for a few more years. 92 today but upside to 96+ based on prior bottle.

So smooth, so velvety, so muscular, so gently and so strong. This is awesome! It is still young and very fresh. But for sure it is time to drink the first, if you have more. I do! :-)

Tasted blind. Extracted fruit of blue and red berries sprinkled with all kinds of sweet spice, also remining me of Asian 5 spice. Fresher herbal layer, too. Electric acidity complements the full bodied palate. More fresh fruit here and a rock-solid structure that keeps the residual heat in check and manages to appear light-footed and elegant.

Mixed New World Tasting. All wines tasted blind. No detailed notes. Once again, the Andremily Mouverdre stole the show. Incredibly complex with perfect precision. Fruit, spices, herbs, earthy notes in all shapes and forms and while it’s a ripe and packed wine, it retains absolute weightlessness and elegance. Wow. I can’t imagine that any other Central Cali wines is as good as this cuvee consistently is.

At first seemed over the top and like a smoke filled room of smoke and more smoke. After a while in the decanter this really came into its own and was quite delicious. Very complex as I’m sure most 100% mouvedre wines are. After an hour every sip was different from the last. Did not have the opportunity to take really details notes as we drank with Thanksgiving dinner.

It's becoming harder for me to rate these wines. There isn't a ton to do better within the genre. This 2019 Mourvedre was ready from the pop and pour and excellent on day 2. Similar to Saxum, it is polished, concentrated, and with enough lift not to feel flabby. Alcohol is concealed enough for me - it isn't as OTT compared to recent SQNs I've tasted. Should hold a long time and I like having a few of these in …

Inky youthful color with notes of raspberry, boysenberry and brambly spice. The palate follows the bouquet. Well-balanced with soft tannins supporting the abundant fruit. Really pure, wonderful fruit. (TLV)

Loved this but kicking myself for not making any notes. It was excellent and intense and still too young.

JD gave this a perfect score and I can see why. White pepper, raspberry, iron, sandalwood just leap from the glass. Red and blue fruit on the palette, super fine well integrated tannins. Cured meats, insanely long finish. It’s shocking that that there is no heat with the alcohol content. Drink it now with some air or hold it for 5-10 years.

This was quite nice, with flavors of kirsch liqueur, black cherry, luxardo, and milk chocolate. It was plush and polished, highly concentrated without any stiffness and the alcohol is concealed. Served at our family Christmas dinner and this was well liked/appreciated.

5/5 - deep ruby purple 14/15 - wonderful aromas of red fruit, a lot of various oak spice and vanilla, some garrigue 18/20 - this is where this wine shines. So well put together. Balance, harmony and no heat on this 15.6% beast! Fruit and oak notes prominent and our group all agreed this has a toasted marshmallow flavor that hits right in the middle of your palate. Spot on. 9/10 - overall a fantastic wine and feels like a …

Andremily magic! An intense, sweet Californian bouquet makes you believe that this will be a sweet, unctuous mess. But you get a light and airy, highly elegant and singular wine with lots of freshness. For sure not one for purists. TN: Intense sweet black and dark red fruit, sugary notes, herbs and some spices on the nose. Screams California, a bit too sweet at first. On the palate the wine is much more balanced right from the go: the sweet …

Cherries, rustic and yet elegant in the bouquet. On the palate a firm amount of sweetness and also a lot of fresh acidity, menthol, mild tannin and an enormous length. Beautiful and youthful wine.

Surprisingly light color and intensely aromatic. But on the palate is a different story. I’m normally a fan of big, fruit driven wines (central coast Rhones are among my favorite) but this is just cloyingly sweet on the finish and reminds me more of a Meiomi Pinot noir. Overall tough to drink. My first experience with Andremily
