Durigutti Malbec Clásico

Opened on a Friday to use some in a recipe, stuck in the fridge and did not get a chance to open again until the next Tuesday. I was not expecting it to be very drinkable at that point, but it was surprisingly good. Shockingly good considering the price and the fact that was open for several days. Some good fruit along with nice hints of coffee and chococate.

Aromas of spiced wine or apple cider-orange, clove, and cinnamon. It also had a slight hint of rubber tire. On the palate, cran-cherry juice upfront, a little plum, and lots of spices. If the finish was a little longer, it would be a few points higher.

Deep dark plummy purple. Spicy coffee, blackberry eau de vie nose. Plummy flavours nothing in the middle slightly grippy choclatey tannins on the finish. ok.
