Not a fan of the style. A little like natural hippy wine. I like elegant light wines but this was just weird. Probably best as a chilled porch pounder

This threw me for a hell of a loop in a blind tasting. I was pretty sure it was an excellent entry-level Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (!) - just so much fresh and lifted red fruit, excellent stemmy nuance, gentle earthy/cool minty tones, extremely gentle tannins (a little too thin at first, then rounding out), persistent acidic energy without being too tart, etc. I did get little traces of that green bell pepper note that made me consider Cab Franc, …

Cloudiness not really impeding flavour Less intense than I recall from last taste

In-store tasting. Usually a fan of this winemaker, but this lightly cloudy wine just didn't taste finished.

A little darker than most SG cab franc, eminently approachable with a lovely spice note on finish

Lovely. Pours a cloudy cranberry red. Nose is very floral and expressive. This one presented a little more fruit-forward than the last, but still had a stemmy/vegetal undertone. Nice long finish.

Wow. First experience with this vintage. Reminiscent of the '15. 11.9%, are you kidding? Just incredible wine.

There was something weirdly off about this bottle. Jammy nose and grapey, stewy and rotting-vegetables on the palate. I'm calling it flawed.

Quick winery tasting note - pickled beets, candied lavender, smoky incense with chalky finish. Cool expression of CF.
