Magnum. Väldigt spännande och gott, gärna till flera förrätter med potatis, hummer och brynt smör samt rökt anka, blodapelsin och tegelsten. Värt att prova, som ett dessertvin till doften men torrt och inte lika sött till smaken. Härligt vin! Kommer återbesökas.

Pale lemon colour. Small and lazy bubbles. Medium and developing nose with bread, red apples, ripe lemon, toast, walnuts and wet stone. Medium taste of bread, red apples, ripe lemon, toast, walnuts and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Jura Blanc de Noirs. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well as an aperitif, or with cured meat and mushroom.

Classic Jurassic savagnin, this isn't for everyone. The dominant profile is that of a biological sherry, with the salty flor flavors and razor acidity. Sea breeze and savagnin's butterscotch flavors come through on the palate. This held up fine over two days and, given the acidity, will last forever. This bottle only lacked a little of the complexity of the best of the Jura.

Blanc de blanc van 12% alc en met jaartal op de fles. Oog: Kristal helder, geelgroen, veel kleine parels in de kroon. Neus: Zuiver en vol tot intens, belegen, rijpe appels, peer, een beetje limoen, roostergeuren, brioche en gist. Mond: Rijk en vol met zuren en molligheid +1 en goed in balans. Ook een afdronk die er mag zijn wat deze cremant zeer dicht bij een goede Champagne brengt.

Very fine bubbles, that are very plentiful initially but seem to run out rather “fast”. (experience after first glass). Very fruity nose giving a first impression of a very plentiful wine; floral, peachy/apricot. In mouth a very plentiful wine, initially explosive but like an explosion it is short lived. During tasting hints of tropical fruit with a slight acidic finish.

Medium gold. Seaside, oxidized, walnuts nose. Crisp, angy, nuts and coffee with cream then finishes with lemon and crisp acid. This is a lot like fino sherry, with lighter weight and alcohol. I don't know how this might age??

Aged five years in wood. Very nutty and concentrated, but thanks to the high acidity it appears very fresh, ends very long. While most of the Vin Jaune are too intense to join the meal and are better stand-alone, this Savagnin is just perfect, best with blue cheese or hot Vacherin Mont d'Or. Great representative of traditional, oxidative Jura wines. Terrific price to quality relation.

Belle prise de mousse. Nez surtout sur la levure et une note rancio. Très champagne. En bouche, bel équilibre, quoique j'aurais souhaité une plus grande vinosité. Malgré ses 5 ans et des poussières, il démontre une acidité assez vive, ce qui me laisse croire qu'il pourra vieillir et peut-être se bonifier. Rolet nous revient en force avec ce millésime...le meilleur selon moi depuis le 2006.
