Grandi Langhe 2026 day 2 I love the color, I REALLY love the juicy, classic palate with a deep well of very pure red fruits. Already shows nice complexity. It's going to live longer than I will. Highly recommended, drink thru 2044.

Maybe the bottle has been stored too hot. It is a bit too evolved and the tannins are almost none existent. But still enjoyable

Wow. I have been following this wine during the last 5-6 yesrs. This was my last bottle and it’s is just great right now. Dried, crushed herbs and spices, saddle leather and a long finish. Acidity well integretet and nice, present, tannins. I love it!

Duft av roser, tjære, kirsebær, lett fat og muskatnøtt, fruktig og kompleks, balansert og lang. En frisk, flott og ungdommelig men moden Barbaresco som fortsatt var rubinrød på farge. Syren er høy og tanninene tydelige og med et behagelig bitt.

Nebbiolo wine swap night. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour with wide garnet rim. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of dark red cherries, slight rustic dusty earth, bits of red licorice, light floral rose. Developed. On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), approachable integrated high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of slightly rustic dusty earth, dark red cherries, red licorice, soft spice, powdery chalkiness and a …

Elegant, though a little early to drink. Great structure, with good mouth feel and firm tannins. Notes of blueberry, raspberry, oak, and anise. A little puckery. Could be terrific in time. 91-92.

Nose of cherry, wet moss, and white truffle. The palate has earth and cherry, with a touch of heat on the finish. Just a bit past its peak. I like my Nebbiolo with a bit more fruit but this is nice if you prefer a bit of age and more subtle flavors. Will likely hold here for 3-4 years before heading downhill.

Probably caught in a weird phase, but not giving a lot of pleasure right now. Having had some old Scarpas I will bury my remaining bottles for at least a decade. Bouquet is a little rustic with red blood, violets and iron. Acidity is quite pronounced but it misses some stuffing and overall balance. Medium body and rather short finish.

Classic Barbaresco with tar and roses. Lots of elegance.

Mild, lett søtlig nese av mørke kirsebær, vanilje og svakt preg av sjokolade. Saftig, bløt og relativt lys, rødbærspreget frukt, nesten antydning til tranebæraromaer. Stramme, tette tanniner, ikke helt modne enda. Bitter avslutning.
