At Domaine Bussion Charles with my wife and SS. While tasting the 2011s and 2012s with Patrick Esa, he generously took one of the older bottles in his cellar and uncorked it. The color was dark gold, close to a lovely mature orange. The nose was absolutely amazing! A little oxidative but filled with hazelnets, orange peel, buttered toast and oil. Good golden colour; botrytised, honeyed nose, barley sugar; fresh palate with lovely richness. Still fresh! Very silky and textural. Very enjoyable at 32 years old. Very long.
