Notes of oak. Spicy, acidic and a little tart. Mild to moderate tannin. Surprising body for a pinot noir. Good value.

Surprisingly deep, red candied nose and flavor profile. Raspberry to cranberry and rhubarb; hints of cola. Pretty good for $11.

Trying this again 11 months later, on Thanksgiving, it definitely rose a point or two with the extra bottle age, and in the presence of food. It has kind of lost it's baby fat and even developed a touch of gaminess. Still shows a hint of menthol or maybe eucalyptus. The oak also shows more prominent with food.

Inexpensive. $5.00. Tastes like Pinot Noir. Worked well with pasta and tomato sauce. Fit the bill at the moment. No, it's not Williasms Selyem, Kosta Browne or Kistler, but I've had some rip off $15 to $30 a bottle Pinots that weren't as good.

This is one of those wines I'm glad not to have reviewed the day it was opened. Sitting overnight in the decanter only helped this one reveal it's true character. At first taste out of the decant, it was a little on the simple side. There was some brooding oak, and true, Pinot like, cloves, barnyard, graphite and wet bark flavors that really needed some air. By the next day, this one had a nice balance of fruit, like cherry …

A well-priced Pinot Noir that tastes like Pinot Noir. Nothing complex, just a basic everyday drinker. Paid less than $10 so my expectations were met. Drink now. Maybe a party wine?
