Temperanillo Blanco. Straw yellow. Mineral, zesty and fresh, reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc but with more flesh. This is ripe and juicy. Rested 4 months on lees, adding richness, texture and some complexity. A great food wine. Modest price tag and a revelation as I hardly drink Rioja blanc. 13.5% abv.

PERSONAL TASTING NOTES: Pale straw color. First whiff had an almost Sauvignon Blanc quality, but definitely not the first sip. Aromas of honey and a hint of apple, the flavor seemed very front-palate with noticeable salinity. Give it some glass time and it will be on point.
