Proyecto Mas Torrontés Ave

Great wine. Awesome bouquet of powerful tropical fruits; pineapple, star fruit, citrus and melon. Slight presence of ocean as well. The palate is very fruity, much like the nose but it has an old-world white kind of saline component, which is nice. Grapefruit lingers on the finish. Very new-world wine with a touch of old-world class. Interesting Torrontes, excellent QPR. I didn't realize the Antinori family had a hand in this.
