Mas Foulaquier Chouette Blanche

Definitely a weird wine, there’s a sweaty, Brett-like upfront note that is totally off-putting. Behind that some apple and acidic notes. Not pleasant.

Smoky, nice acid - a tasty if unusual white blend.

It is rare that I encounter a brett influenced white wine, but this is one. That's what hit me at first sniff, and the next day resampling the bottle, it is still there. Otherwise, interesting fruit, in many layers. Too bad I have near zero toleration for contamination.
