Absolutely outstanding- classic Chardonnay from napa. Apple lemon pear - everything. Nach der Schilddrüse

Lots of fresh tropical fruit on the nose, full mouth full and rounded finish. Possibly over-sweet and lacking in acidity for some, definitely a Cali chard and not too Burgundian, but very pleasant.

Purchased this to take to dinner with us at Doc's. Chilled, PnP, drank over an hour+. Medium gold. Nose of vanilla oak, citrus, orchard fruits. Palate showing orchard fruits/apple, lemon/citrus. Some "sour" fruit notes through the mid palate. Medium body and finish. Its been a while since I had ZD Chardonnay, I used to buy this back in their heyday (90s). All the new French oak you could want on a Chardonnay seems to come out on the nose of this. But, granted, I rarely drink Chardonnay this oaky so others will probably find it more restrained. Over ripe melon, over ripe yellow nectarine, lemon curd, smoke, cedar and vanilla on the nose. Intensity of aromas is medium +. Orchard fruit, jack fruit, citrus, and a kiss of Nilla Wafers on the nose. Medium bodied, very good brightness, nice structure, with spiced pears on a velvety texture. This is generous and energetic. Always a hit.

PnP. Big rich style. Not quite as complex as the '21, but similar in style for sure. 4-12-15-8: 89/100.
