Overall conclusion: All vintages are still performing well. Vintage 2002 is charming, easy to drink, still good concentration, rounded tannins. 2005 is dark, has more alcohol, higher tannins, more acidity, very good balance. bottle in excellent condition. nice ripe color. nose as expected, spices, leatrher mixed with red fuit. very well balanced, all taninnes were fully intergrated, medium to full bodied wityh long finish. nice balance between elegance and power.

tasted blind fairly dark bright red color nose oozes with deep dark concentrated red fruit intermingled with a little new oak in a classy, polished, quality way tastes as a mix between concentration and freshness of red fruit that only a top class pinot noir (almost written top burgundy) can have, very little tannnis, almost no acid, no alcohol burn, all elements in perfect balance very, very, very silky long finish having drunk my fair share of burgundy, my reaction …
