Cave Vinicole a Hunawihr, Riesling Reserve, Alsace

Virtually colourless. Fabulous varietal nose: scintillating, sweet, fragrant; everything I could want in a riesling. Totally dry-tasting of course, and rather acidic. I know there's no reason riesling should taste sweet, but as I consume it mostly in that style, these dry ones are always a bit of a shock.
