First bottle drank 3½ years ago. Not particularly impressed at that time. Today, decanted for about 3 hours. Very inky in color. Lots of dark fruits, with some cedar (there were other flavor components, but I'm not recalling now, after the fact). The mix of grapes-- CS, Syrah, Petit Syrah, and Malbec--is quite tasty, but lacks any kind of identity or sense of place. It's best served at cellar temperature, as customary room temperature makes the wine somewhat flabby. It …

Delicious, dark berries and some cedar or chocolate? Rich, (non-fruit) flavors behind the dark berries. everything you vould want in a CA cabernet blend. The second night, like velvet. A little herb or mineral in the nose. Plenty of soft tannins, as well as bright acidity proving structure to the overall lushness. OTW!

Flawed bottle...tasted oxidized and quite stewed. Possibly heat damaged?

Fairly consistent with my prior note, although I got a lot more acidity from this bottle than the previous. Flavors of black fruit, oak, and chewy black tea tannins. Finish is all espresso. Drink now - 2027.

Drinking well right now. Well balanced, although the fruit is a bit subdued; beautiful, silk-cushiony mouth feel and respectable length. Would I pay the $150 Wine-searcher listing on this? No way Jose, but do I like this? - Oh yeah!

Seems to be coming into its own now, tannins are beginning to resolve and are better integrated than 3-4 years ago. Drink through 2027.

Dark ruby red with a bit of sediment. Well rounded nose with black currants, chocolate and some herbs. Medium tannins (6/10) with a medium to medium plus body. Spiced chocolate on the palate with black cherries and dusted plums. Long finish. Drink till 2025.

Decanted for 2 hours, and it kept getting better all night. Plenty of fruit remaining. Full bodied, complex wine.

Great wine! Loved by all who got a taste. Inky dark, almost black in color. Notes of black fruit, fig and some oak, with chewy tannins. Finish is long and of mocha espresso. Drink now - 2027.

Another very nice showing - deep intense and ripe but lacking some flair and complexity, showed some nice vibrant acidity on the finish. Overall, no complaints - worked great with food and plenty tasty afterward. For the money, there are more interesting wines out there though.

Drinking nicely here as a PnP. Big fruit. Obviously gives Cabernet and Syrah flavors together. A bit strange but decently well executed. My guess is that the Cab was too red and forward to be a high quality varietal wine so the Syrah gave weight to the midpalate and they leaned in extraction a bit.

Dark and ripe, rich and slightly sweet, well balanced with acidity, but comes across as a little hot and with air becomes more unbalanced. Overall a nice tasty wine with good blackberry and mulberry fruit, but not hugely intense and lacking complexity for a big score. Not sure what i paid as a mystery wine from Garagiste, but if i had paid full freight i would not buy again.

This is wine is a real disappointment at $39. It is syrupy thick and over extracted. I don't drink much California Cabernet-based wines, so maybe this is what people look for from that region, but it seems poorly made to me. It actually went well with lamb chops in a rich rosemary garlic sauce, but it's not the kind of wine I enjoy on its own. Think I'll wait a long time before I open my second bottle.

Consistent with my late 2016 tasting note. Lots of upfront jammy, dark black fruits underscored by a mouthful of chewy tannins- Needs both food and a long decant. Much more subdued and balanced on day two. Probably could use some more time in the bottle.

This wine should be held for 2-3 years. The tannins are persistent--even after two days of decanting. The second bottle with similar result. The lucky ones that found their bottles were drinkable now ...

Very nice and intriguing nose of dark berries, cassis, and maybe some tobacco. For better or worse, the nose was the high-point, with the pallet being somewhat thin, the tannins somewhat harsh, and a short finish. I will save the next bottle for a few years to see if it improves.

A Mystery wine purchase from Garagiste and for their price, a very nice wine. Fruit forward, and I don't know the aging potential, but its drinking well right now.

Fruit forward, almost obnoxiously so. This wine was popped about an hour before enjoying which allowed it to "bottle decant." The one thing I can definitely say is that it had an aroma out of the bottle that was pretty nice after I left and came back an hour later. Lots of dark berry perfume! The nose was rather deep and dark, blackberry and mulberry. Almost a little dirty. The entry was thick and jammy, very fruit forward wine. All …
