very smooth, soft, and buttery. Worked well with appetizers including multi heir loom tomatoes and caper quark with smoked trout.

definitely past its prime, but crisp, refreshing, pear-citrus. Still a pleasant Chardonnay, but much better in subsequent vintages.

Light golden-straw in color. On the nose, green apple, pear, and citrus aromas are apparent, with a hint of vanilla and maybe even nutmeg. Rich and creamy on the palate, with ripe apple, melon, bright citrus, and vanilla flavors showing to a long finish with a bit of lingering acidity. Delicious now, and will go another 5-8 years easily.

Wow. Popped and poured with orange roughy poached with mushrooms. Yummy! Light yellow color. Apple and bread aromas. Nice balanced minerality and fruit taste. Not an oak bomb. One of the older Chards we have had. Got recently at the winery and it was great!! c - 3 a - 13 t - 18 o - 7

A little strong on day one, alcohol was a bit intense as the wine is a tad past its prime. Day 2 we drank it outside on a mid-80's evening. Plenty of acidity with a slight hint on citrus, smooth finish, definitely a strong Chardonnay. Not overwhelming amounts of oak.

Crisp and juicy with lots of acidity. Some tropical fruit notes. Didn't detect much in the way of oak or buttery notes. Great stuff. Very underrated with a good QPR.

I am not a chardonnay drinker, but I really liked this one when I tasted it, so I bought a bottle. Almost tastes oak free, but there is a little bit peaking out here and there. Very nice citrus, apple, crisp acidity (no malolactic fermentation here, methinks). Kind of expensive but a very nice wine.

Nose not giving much, great mouthfeel. Not a ton of fruit, but viscous and hint of stones (think Chablis-esque). The finish was terrific, the best part of this wine. The oak, rose the finish up and carried for at least 30 seconds. Not sure where this wine will go, but I'm glad I have more.

Not a huge buttery chardonnay, certainly high in alcohol, but restrained. It isa light and refreshing wine.

nice citrus and moderate oak (50% malo) little vanilla and butter. old world meets new -- mineral, crisp and moderate oaked chard in a nice balanced harmony.
