A very backwards wine. the first night straight out of the bottle it was soft and supple with an enjoyable plumminess to it. The second night it was more tannic and biting. Still good, just more kick to it.

Chocolate, cream, and dust. Drank very well right out of the bottle and really opened up over the hour with great structure and a floral nose. Great QPR and great wine from Celia Welch.

Opened this wine for the first time and just let it sit for a half hour. You can smell dark blackberry and chocolate aromas after pouring it into my glass and the taste was no different. For the price, this wine was much to my liking. Very distinct dark color. Amazing wine. Ordered 3 more bottles and ready to drink now.

Winery Tastings, October 2010; 10/22/2010-10/25/2010 (Mt. Veeder, Oakville, Spring Mountain, St. Helena, Calistoga, Napa) : A really nicely put together wine. Much more structure, cream, and dust than you typically expect at this price. I wouldn't age it, as it's ready now.
