Bottle 1349g?! Why is this bottle heavier? Aromas of elevated intensity, tart cherry, old wood, herbal and earthy notes. Dry, with pronounced, stinging acidity and pronounced, drying tannins. Some darker fruit joins the cherry, with a little savory meatiness. Full-bodied, 14°. Youthful.

Bottle 1262g. Moderately intense aromas of sour cherry, herbal notes, something woody. Dry, with pronounced acidity and pronounced grippy tannins (with some bitterness), full-bodied, 14°. Probably needs time and oxygen to open up, and some bottle age wouldn't hurt.

Bottle 1259g. Moderately intense aromas: sour cherry, cherry cordial, violets, arugula. Dry, with pronounced drying tannins, pronounced sharp acidity, full-bodied, 14°. Sweet cherry fruit on the palate, which might be enough to last the five-plus years it will take before these tannins ease up enough to offer a balanced wine. If so, this will prove good value for a common Langhe.
