pours a dark red with a bit of evolution. Nose on primary and secondary notes: ripe strawberry and raspberry, brambles, forest leaves. fine tannins, uplifting acidity with more crushed berries on the palate. pretty long finish.

Winefield's Pre-Sale tasting: Flowery, pure, très pinot, tasty, but there is a bit too much bitterness in the finish of this bottle.

This is beautiful. Drinking well now but no doubt some way to go. Wonderful nose - I would say more on red spectrum. Hits the palate and fans out with perfect Pinot flavours. And long lasting finish. Maybe with a bit of toasted oak. More than enough acidity to clear the palate and hold the fruit. Excellent.

Rich dark-fruited with a nice Gevrey bite/forest floor funk to it. Med tannins, low-med acid, touch of spice, touch of...cinnamon? 13.5% Alc. An easy-drinking glass with balancing pleasure and backbone.

Ripe dark fruit, rich, earthy and silky, with some remaining freshness and sufficient structure. Entering the maturity zone. Very nice village Gevrey.
