Domaine Stirn Muscat Tradition

Popped and poured. Pale yellow. Floral bouquet and palate. This is nice but a bit watery in the mid-palate. Some residual sugar but fairly well balanced by the acidity. Short final. Goes well en apperitif but not enough intensity to pair this with food.

Purchased at the domaine during a visit with the very likeable Fabien Stirn, who along with his wife, is an oenologue as well as being a winemaker. This is an entry level cuvée for the Stirn domaine, his Grand Cru rieslings and gewurztraminer offer more complexity and splendid value.
