medium ruby with some haziness and light bricking at the edges. nose with clay and dust, cinnamon, ripe berries, and VA. medium bodied with fresh acidity. mineral, showing stone and clay in equal proportions. fresh, juicy, ripe raspberry flavor with cola and cinnamon spice on the palate. medium length finish with only a hint of tannin. excellent.

Light. Brighty. Juicy. Natty funk persists but does not distract. The prior bottle felt off, but i'm not sure if that's b/c it's next to a much better 2018 vintage? This was a solid bottle.

Hard to tell if this bottle had some flaw/bottle variation. Drank next to the 2018 vintage and it's like a totally different wine. This was clipped on the palate, lacked the fruit density, and didn't excite much.
