Discovered bottle. Stored well chilled. Screw-cap. Pop and poured. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon-yellow colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of briny saline minerality, hints of flint. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium- body. Medium- flavour intensity, with flavours of brine, saline minerality, remnants of green apple. Medium finish. Commendable in that it does not taste unfresh. Low intensity fruit now. Actually tastes rather like a simple Chablis village wine, just …

Apparently this stuff is growing on me -- much better than the first bottle I had. Nice, smooth, rich, with good fruit and lots of oak.

Perfectly acceptable -- good balance of fruit (lemon, apple mostly), and acid. Medium body. Short finish. Not great, but for price, a good buy.

Yellow in colour, some fruit left on the nose and palate, medium-bodied, some oak sweetness and alcoholic heat on the finish. Lacks personality but offers something acceptable for the price. Probably past its prime so drink this urgently.

Just an average Chardonnay. Nothing special about it all. Moderate oakiness, actually it seems sort of bland or sterile. Ok to receive as a gift but I would not buy or give away.

harmless and middle of the road: not a bad choice given the price.

These have improved great greatly since purchased when first released. Served at party, and guests wanted more. We're finding most of the JC 2007 whites are developing nicely.

Typical simple boring chardonnay. Nothing wrong, nothing memorable.

Can find any thing wrong with this wine. It is not extremely complex - more mid bodied. Good fresh acidity, fruits in smell and taste - hint of oak. Slightly spicy. I will probably buy this wine again.

At Harry's, this was the house pour white. Not horrid, but not good either. Just about what you would expect from this bottling. Nose had chalk and flint, a whiff of cat's pee, and quite a bit of sweetness in the fruit with apple and a citrusy grapefruity twang which evolved into rather chemically pear drops after a little while. Bright acid, almost artificially so on the palate, wet stone, a burst of heat. Lots of gummy grapefruit. Fnished short …
