This is an otherworldly experience if you like aged Riesling Auslese from a ripe year. Translucent gold, apricot and quince on the nose, palate staining, silky, botrytis-inflected fruit without any sense of fatigue. This wine will live a long time on its impeccably balanced acid, sweetness, and depth of flavor. A properly stored bottle bought on release.
