Whoa, this is killer! Opened and poured into a big Pinot glass and let sit for 45 min. Opened beautifully, great fruit still present and up front, has a trace nose of iron, the kind you get from Burgundy almost. Has integrated superbly and the earth and leather show nicely. Wish I had more!

So I read CNKAMP's review below and was shocked at how much I agreed with it six years later. This is a splendid 11 year old Pinot. So over six years later, I tasted the same thing he taste minus the tannins. Over the years, the tannins have really softened and this has become a beautiful wine. Very surprised at the high quality of an 11 year old Pinot. I will definitely try to procure some more from the winery. …

Good wine but the tartness and acidity are dominant now. The fruits are muted but it does t have any of the earth/vegetal tones of a burgundy. Good wine but time to drink.

Cherry and some oak on the nose. Slight pepper and cherry and plummy taste with very mild tannins. Very fruit forward. Should do OK with a blend of Indian foods.

This one had a big nose of candied cherries. It hit you as soon as the bottle opened. We tasted this blind, and the substantial mouthfeel made me think this Pinot came from further south in California. Tannins are still noticeable but pleasant. Cranberries and tart cherries with a fairly long finish. Very similar to the 2006 - good stuff.
