Château Signac Côtes du Rhône Pliocène

By the glass at About. Simple but pleasant, this wine started out with a fairly attractive nose of wild berries along with hints of spice, garrigue and a bit of dried earth. A nice nod to Provence I thought. It's mid-weighted palate was light on its feet, with lots of juicy acidity and fine tannins framing crunchy berry fruit with a little bit of spice on the sides, and a hint of violets in there somewhere.
