About a year since I had the 2017, so I figured it was time to give the 2018 a try since I'd then have 1 left of each. Overall the 2018 feels a little more dark-fruited and powerful than the 2017 that had a bit more lightness and elegance. Nose was a symphony of forest-berries; black cherry, blackberry with a touch of strawberry and raspberry. Some smoke, earthiness, rocks and liqourice root going on.
