Nice wine, not great. Dark fruit with nice acid on opening but short finish and no complexity. With time it opens well and get more pepper and spice with better finish.

Good, right on with the olive and cherry pit notes. Creaminess on the palate but enough acidity too.

Dark, undeveloped ruby color. Garrigue on the nose. Need som air. Then almonds dark fruit, boysenberry, crushed cherry pits. Palate is dry yet fruity with medium finish (leather?) and herbs.

Good bright nose of cherry and spice. Pretty simple, but fresh and bursting with tart cherries. Lingering finish of black cherry and spice.

Light and full of red fruit. Not bad but a bit small for a Southern Rhone wine.

Another terrific value play from Vidal. Nice fruit with good grip. Awesome Tuesday night quaff. Paired with quesadillas with smoked andoullie sausage. Great buy at 7 dollars.

Good Manison Friday Night Tasting - Tour of France : Light crimson in color, nose of red fruit and spice. Simple and one dimensional with predominate flavor of raspberry. Short finish. For the price, not all bad.

A shiraz dominant (60%) blend which is not my preference for a Cotes de Ventoux - I love grenache dominant blends. Hence my score may be less than would otherwise be the case. The wine has good balance, ripe fruit without any jaminess, excellent QPR.
