Grace Estate Winery Cabernet Sauvignon

First impression was that maybe I'd kept this too long, but after an hour and with roast pork it was fine. Dark cherry colour. Plenty of cherries and blackcurrant on the nose. The palate is full bodied, smooth, rich, dark berries. Medium finish. Probably not going to keep much longer.

Born in the USA (The Great Hall, One Great George Street, Westminster) : Red berry, a little funky and farty, herbaceous touches. It's s a bit spicy and quite warm on the palate and the tannins are drying and gritty. Nah.

Nice peppery mid-palate but somewhat bland overall; should be allowed to breathe for several hours. Overpriced for what it is.
