Nicely balanced. Flavours more towards a sweet berry/dried berry/incense/fruitcake style rather then bitterness. Some sandalwood and cedar as well. Dusty smooth tannins. Medium acidity. Shows good structure. A nice drinking wine with complexity but not a "wowing" wine. Drank this over 3 days and it was still showing nicely.

No formal notes, just very enjoyable drinking. Smooth with no harsh edges.

- Crimsom color. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of violet, prune, dusty and alcohol with a medium body. Coarse texture with a medium finish - Overall underwhelmed . Expected more considering other reviews. A bit thin.

I liked this more than the previous bottle I had. This one shows more youthful, with a round mouthfeel and soft tannins. The berry fruit on the palate is fresh and has good concentration. This wine has some Burgundian characteristics that are appealing. Drink or hold.

This appears to be quite forward, with some bricking and mature aromas. Also minimal tannin. This may not have been stored optimally. Having said that I enjoyed it. It was a good companion to Spanish cheeses.

Spanish Reds (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA) : Cf. the CellarTracker Article link [lower lft] to get specific info for this vintage, including acclaim. P: LM body; NICE frt met by a puckerish astringency which makes itself felt into the LONG, tangy finish with hints of swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins. NEEDS thru '19, then making its 10th? NICELY done in a lighter style! My EXC-, …
