This wine has help up nicely. Still quite youthful and loaded with rich black fruit. Tannins are soft and well integrated leaving a very nice finish. Well done Lisa.

This is one of those unusual bedfellow wines that work, combining beautiful florals with somewhat raw earthiness in ways that defy and find harmony. The nose wafts sweet tobacco, tanned leather, cherry compote, chocolate pudding, thyme, and violet. The full bodied palate has juicy and acidic and dense tannin. The flavor profile includes mountain strawberry, boysenberry, lilac, chocolate covered raisin, and pipe tobacco. This is really enjoyable stuff that seems to be entering a prime window that ought to last …

I agree with THEBIGBABY. This wine is in a good spot and at its best. Smooth with nice fruit and a long finish. Drink 'em if you got 'em.

Absolutely love the nose on this wine. Sensual and inviting. The cab franc is front and center on the palate now with zippy, spicy finish. Not sure I would wait much longer. Feels like it is right in the wheelhouse right now. Enjoy!

It a good spot now, with plenty of life left in it. Still dark in the glass, but getting lighter on the edges. Fragrant nose of of plums and vanilla. Has a a real nice balance and initially the Cab Sauv dominates the palate, with hints of the Cab Franc on both the nose and the through the medium finish. However, after a few hours of breathing the Cab Franc takes over. Very enjoyable.

A blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 85 Petit Verdot. 22 months in 100% French oak, 79% new. Decanted Forward aromas strut scents of cassis, vanilla, caramel and toasty oak nuances that play with notes of dark cherry, Danish pastry, red vines, spice cigar box and violet pastilles that come with hints of herbs and forest floor. The palate shows juicy acidity and a suave tannin structure to match. The mid-palate density and overall weight of the wine …

Easily identifiable as a Washington wine. But was almost sweet in its extraction.

Really bummed, my last 2 bottles were corked. Really surprised, the previous bottles were pretty darn good and were a Great QPR.

Pretty good. Not my favorite, but a nice wine for the price. Dark with a nice, soft aroma. Taste was nice, but a bit one-layered, balanced, but not very complex. A nice, casual wine. Won’t wow anyone, but it won’t embarrass you either. A nice food-friendly Cabernet. Get more? Jury is out. I’ll see how the other bottles impress me.

Nose of dark cherry and potters clay. Sweet tang of fruit layers - bright cherry and cranapple? - followed by savory herbs. Medium-weight tannins form the base of a gentle finish without a lot of heft.

Pungent nose of dried herbs, burnt notes, and rawhide. Dense palate of black cherry, oregano, bay leaves, and smoky notes. Firm chewy tannins with loads of pepper and spice under laid with charred oak.

PnP. Mild tannins, a little light, with fruit tending toward the cherries. Clearly a WA Cab blend. A good bottle for a casual Friday with pizza. Easy to finish in one sitting.

Friends and I tasted this at the 11/5/16 release. It had deep, rich and tight bouquet of black currant, plum, licorice, violet and spice aromas. The palate was tightly bound up and dry with flavors that followed the nose. This would have been much better with some air…they just popped & poured.

Blackberry, red cherry, dried cherry, earth, and some va on the somewhat subdued nose. Black and red cherry, earth, plum, and spice on the palate. Hmm, this wine seems a bit out of sorts, which is unfortunate, as I remember liking this a lot many years ago. Maybe the VA is affecting it.

Drinking pretty nicely right out of the bottle. We popped, tasted and then decanted. It's fruity, but not tannic. I'd drink within the next two years.

Decanted 90 mins, nose of floral and alcohol, first notes of oak and cedar, small dark fruit flavors hint through the earthy tones. tannins supple and present. Overall a welcoming wine, but at $40 per bottle there is better out there.

Fabuluscious! Full-bodied, well balanced - I wanted to jump in and swim around in it. Wish I had bought a case, it's a great chillin' out Friday night wine...
