Tabor Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Good cali cab, better than expected. Good dark fruit, nice touch of oak, balanced.

Initial impression was the beautiful nose of red and dark berries. Rather complex palate, even offering subtle notes of mint. What also impressed was the ease of drinking this wine - with (already) soft tannins and a medium weight, this wine worked very well with dinner. I conclude this is an overlooked gem - and I've had cabs and 2 or 3 times the price that weren't nearly as good.
