Buttery and round. Vanilla and butterscotch. Cedar and butter nose. Decent but not overly impressive.

Among the better sub-15 bottles I've had in a long time

Very good Chard. Apple, pear, and tropical fruit on the nose. Creamy mouthfill with nice vanilla and oak on the mid-palate, but not over-whelming. Nice depth and some herbal notes as well.

Lovely aromas of vanilla, quince paste, baking spices, and flowers. Smooth, rich palate of pear, guava, hint of lemon, and more spices. Not too buttery or oaky. Outstanding. NOTE: The label indicates "Estate Grown." Not sure if I am posting under the correct heading, or if there is a Markham bottling without this designation.

With Dijon Chiecken, Asparagus, and baked potato. Pale yellow gold with just the slightest tough of pale green. Toasty Chard nose. Nice blen of acid, lemon, apple, and a touch of butter - good balance, medium lenth, some light spice on the finish. A nice wine - a bit better than a good drinking wine, more a weekend wine.

Wow, I loved this. Tropical fruit notes, spice (maybe nutmeg), a little herbal quality, and some vanilla with the oak influence. For my taste this wasn't overoaked, but some may disagree. Maybe a little hot too, but not really for my palate. I am perhaps influenced by this being $11 at Trader Joes. I'll have to get much more.

Not bad for 12 bucks. Golden color to it. A lot of toasted oak to go along with some floral notes and apple. Medium bodied but creamy, almost reminicsent of Columbia Crest's Grand Estates. Nice finish that could use a touch more acidity. Still, not bad for an everyday drinker.
