Second bottle. Smoke has subsided but spice notes are still present, alongside loads of black cherry. Get a hint of tapenade on the finish. Great wine, and in a good drinking window now.

The wine is drinking beautifully immediately upon opening. The fruit is thick and lush with nice balance and not showing too much alcohol. It softened after a few hours and the fruit was not as abundant.

Inky violet color with dark fruits, cedarwood, and hint of smoked meat aromas. It's a bit hot on the nose. On the palate, it's ample with a nice vein of acidity (from the Carignane) and firm tannins with blackberry, black raspberry flavors. Short finish
