Too much time has lapsed since we drank. I would say Good (80-85)

A fruity, low tannin, approachable light red wine that is very versatile. Was great with a teriyaki pork tenderloin, but definitely drinkable on its own. Did chill slightly per label. Great price point!

I've been drinking this wine over the past couple of days and I'm really enjoying it. It's probably not the best example of this type of wine, but it's so much different than what I've been drinking recently, it's a nice change. Lot's of pleasant flavors and aromas including dust, black cherry, strawberry, licorice and hazelnut. Nice balance and mouthfeel as well.

Like a cross between a fruity Central Coast Zin and a French Beaujolais. Stacy didn't like it at all, but I reminisced that this was the first red wine we enjoyed from the Paso Robles Wine Festival in 2000.

Jammy and tart, unexpectedly. Caught strawberries and a fruity nose. Definitely to have chilled.

Interesting, light wine. Almost sparkly. Refreshing. Better as an afternoon wine.

VERY fruity. Lots of jammy strawberry and other berry fruit. Definitely a summer wine best served chilled. Excellent wine for unwinding at the end of the day on the deck. Best for drinking alone.

I was not a all familiar with a Valdiguié. This wine starts with its unusual color of deep red to purple, almost a deep fuchsia. The nose has aromas of vanilla and honeysuckle. A slightly sweet taste with many fruit flavors including cherry, strawberry, and blackberry. This wine from a somewhat maligned grape was very different and a pleasure at the price point. I suggest serving it slightly chilled on a nice summer day. Be ready for something very different.

3/06: Wine Enthusiast described this as similiar to a nouveau wine, and I see what they're saying--light body, acidic, a little bit sparkling. However, to me it wasn't as fun and juicy as, say, George DeBeouf Beaujolais Nouveau. Their review spoke of "intense" aromas in the bouquet, while I didn't feel there was anything intense about this wine; not the aroma or the taste. It was just thoroughly average.
