Probably my favorite LR pinot vintage.

Very nice. Fruit is rich - this is not a light and elegant style - without being blowzy and overdone. Well balanced and very enjoyable. Good QPR.

Garnet leaning to brick red. Oh yeah! Firecracker and Cali yeast on the nose. Smooth mouth with bing cherries and a bit of red raspberry. We need to vertical this with the 2007 soon!

Not as good as I remember it. When tasted in Carlton, I thought this was the smoothest, earthiest one we had that day. But this bottle was a little sweet, and lacked the earth. It certainly was balanced, lacking any of the raw acidity of a cheap pinot, but the slightly sweet cherry Jolly Rancher never yielded to more subtle earth notes, even after decanting for 30, 60, and 90 minutes. A shame, I thought this was better. Drink up …

Good stuff. Too tired to make detailed observations.

Rich and full flavored, without being hot or overblown. A very nice bottle. I expect that a few more years in the bottle will bring out some subtleties.

Excellent bottle! Well balanced. Good fruit on nose and mouth. Just a tad overpowered by earthiness. Too bad EVERY bottle isn't this good!

Can't go wrong here. Restrained and balanced.

Nice light ruby red color. Earthy nose with cherry. Acidic mouth feel. Nice cherry and raspberry flavors. Better after breathing an hour.

Yummy. Earthy, and I swear I detect aromas of marijuana. Subtle fruit. Nice mouth feel.

We finally got a good bottle of this 2006!! And it is GOOD! Well better than the $15 woot price, but when taking into account two out of three bad ones so far I'll hesitate to recommend before working through the rest.

Love me that SB County Pinot Noir! Alas, this one is harsher than others, almost austere. Not earthy and not much fruit either. Weird. It's all oak and alcohol. Meh. [edit - ah ha! another corked bottle]

Oregon Trip Day 1 (Wilamette Valley) : Bright red/pink color. Nice round red and black cherry nose with just a hintof brown sugar. Nice sweeter black and red cherry on the palate. Open and easy to drink now.
