Not quite as good as previous bottles.

Drinking very well, floral and strawberries on the nose candied strawberries, herbal notes, tea, cedar, layered complexity finishes balanced with a touch of acidity.

Aromatics of bamble and cedar. On the palate, dark ripe fruit, cherry, cola, porchini, spice, black pepper, black tea and forest floor. Balanced acidity, light tannins, light mouthfeel, medium bramble finish. Overall a light nuanced wine.

Pretty brick red. Cooked porcini, touch of smoke, soy, followed by dark cherry, pomegranate, new oak. Med acid. Moderate, fine tannins. Back to dark cherry, asian spice, cranberry. Persistent, juicy finish. 13.5% abv held in check. Started to show a touch of oxidization after two hours in the glass. Fair value at <45usd. But at the absurd owner vanity release price? No way.

Good everyday wine but not worth the price. Cherry cola, ripe berries, rose, forest floor. Good acidity and balance, not overly complex.

Classic Santa Barbara red fruit. (91-92)

Dark plump and juicy blackberry and dark cherry. Cola and floral notes. Very fruit forward and juicy.
