Wine Education Service Mature German Riesling from Michael Schafer (Imperial College, London) : Metallic edge to the nose. Creamy, vegetal and developed. Becomes more oily with time. Very sweet, tinned fruit in syrup. Apricots. Lacks sufficient acidity to balance the intensity of the syrupy fruit and sugar. But still v nice.
