Domaine de L'Ancien Prieure Cévennes Cuvée Australe

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. Honestly quite a weird wine that I don't know how to score. No obvious defects in the winemaking. Awkwardly bombastic - milk chocolate, prunes, some green stalkiness amidst it all. The fruit itself is rather nice, but there is constant obfuscation from these weird elements - lots of sweet/bitter/green flashes and a massively tannic finish.
