Always interested to see how these NZ pinots evolve and to be honest there isn’t too much evolution. Fruit may not be quite as vibrant but the profile hasn’t changed too much. Still quite meaty and fairly high in acidity this still drinks similar to as it did in its youth. Not an elegant Pinot, very new world in style but would partner well with gamey food. Stelvin closure perhaps the reason for such preservation?

Still fairly bright and vibrant colour. Some complexity on the nose, darker fruit than a year ago. A bit fuller on the palate, some real tannin coming through on the finish. Overall a darker fruit, more blackberry and plum than cherry and raspberry. Still got a nice lick of well integrated oak, but moving into a more mature phase, but not sure it's actually as good as it was before. Pleasant, but a little down on the last bottle.

Nice Pinot in a lighter fruit forward style. Very light in color, nice mature pinot nose at this point, and typical pinot fruit profile. Not a lot of spice or complexity, but at this price a good QPR.

Good vibrant, clean Pinot with delicious acidity, bit of earth and some development through the light oak, adding extra interest. 88-89.

Vibrant red colour, very light almost clear on the rim. Lots of red berry on the nose, cherry and perhaps a little blackberry. Hint of oak, but subtle and balanced. Good acidity, carries through the palate. Lovely clear, good length finish. Very drinkable.

Nice approachable pinot with good layers if fruit and smokiness Easily drinkable now but would like to hold on to some for a few years to see if secondaries come through. Will be tough not to drink em though
