Fresh red fruit. Good acid. Some elegance. In a good place. No obvious reason to wait any longer.

Light color and body. Bright red cherry, with some spice and stony notes. Pretty and very easy to drink, but not lacking in complexity. Should age well over the medium term.

Floral, light red cherries, a pleasant herby green note, good acidity, elegant fine tannins. Very nice wine.

The couple vintages of this bottling I’ve had have been super reduced on opening. They need some time to blow off some unflattering aromas, then settled in. Quite earthy, fairly light and spicy but not without interest — showing good concentration relative to its body. Feels like this has not yet kicked into hi-def.

Slightly reductive with initial notes of buttermilk. Purple color, intense red-fruited palate with depth and persistence, the 110yr old vines at play. Flowers, gentle spices, soft and silky tannins. Gourmand. Surprising power for a 2021 from a cold site. Wait 3+ years for next hit. With Niels and Henrik at Møntergade.

Serious wine. Cherries, vanilla, roses, cranberry. Quite natural, but not in a bad way. Structured wine, needs some time to open and unfold. This could use some cellaring. 90+, 2026-2030

First time trying Cassiopee which was quite impressive given the humble appellation. The nose is inviting with violet, berries, orange peel and rose petals. It’s quite natural-ish in style. I might have guessed it gamay with natural style winemaking just for the nose if blinded. Palate is delicious and improved after 3 hours in bottle.
