Domaine Bonneau du Martray, Corton Grand Cru

Aromas of sweet cherry, raspberries, spice, leather. Medium+ acidity, light style, very accesible.

Raspberry coloured. Fruity nose. Silky, elegant, concentrated with fresh fruit. Deeply fruity and very welcoming at this early age. A remarkable young Corton Rouge.

A touch past its prime and slightly questionable provenance, but a great experience. Bright red with a touch of orange at the rim. Nose of dried flower petals, earth notes of underbrush and a touch of leather. The fruit is secondary, but still present. On the palate it falls a little flat. Some fruit but again, moved through to secondary characteristics, similar to the nose. A short finish caps it off. Too bad this wasn't opened in its prime.

Pale translucent red. Light to medium flavors of fruit and rose petals with some structure remaining. CLearly past its prime but offering up memories of what nigh have been missed
