Delightfully bretty nose of red apple, some cinnamon, red cherries, florals, orange rind, earth and graphite with a small hint of licorice. Light and supple palate with bright acidity and yummy red-toned fruit. Licorice, cinnamon and florality with a meaty bite. Long. A great wine. Unquestionably Sangiovese. Hugely drinkable.

Medium-strong and earthy nose with wet tussock, sour cherry and thyme. Medium-bodied palette is also earthy with abundant acidity and nicely refreshing tannin structure. Medium-length aftertaste is dominated by lingonberry and sour cherry notes. Been open for a day and only getting better. Identifiable and very drinkable Tuscanian Sangiovese for long-cooked beef.
