Unmistakable Pinot from a star producer with no reluctancy to show the fruit potential in this varietal, the 2007 Special Bottling Presidio delivers an amazing array of different kinds of strawberry and then after a a few more minutes in the glass deeper darker fruits. There is subtle wet forest floor accompanied by classy saddle leather and freshly ground herbs - but even more so orange zest and perhaps a bit of blood grape... The nose is certainly complex, but …

double blind. clearly central coast pinot, and shocking that pinot averse kevin is the provider. let's just say it didn't compliment my palate.
