Average O-noir that was a little on the thin blueberry side of things although it remained more or less balanced. If named to honor his wife, why didn't he call it the "Laurine Cuvee"?

Light-styled Pinot Noir with light acidity and bright strawberry-cranberry fruit. Simple but refreshing--would go well with a variety of different foods and cuisines. Good bargain as a $14 mystery wine from Garagiste.

From memory: Red fruit, crunchy berries. Perhaps just not my favorite style of pinot noir.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Medium garnet color. Spicy strawberry fruit. Light floral on the nose. Tang. Nice balance.

An O-noir for California (C-noir) lovers. Ripe, full bodied, not quite cherry candy cola but drifting in that direction. Could use a little more acids to tighten it up.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Light ruby with some browning at the edge. Some floral hibiscus notes on the nose. Crunchy cranberry fruit. Excellent balance. Zippy acidity. Nice lift on the mid palate. Medium plus finish. An excellent QPR as I picked this up for < $20 from Garagiste. This held its own and even exceeded a couple of other pinots that cost 3 to 4x as much.

Another nice showing for this - easy going but nice typicity - similar notes to last one.

Smooth and soft with beautiful and suttle fruit notes and a hot aftertaste.

Lighter in style, pretty mellow with light cherry and strawberry fruit. Pretty soft with light tannins and acidity - nice light good value OR pinot at a decent price.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Some crunchy red berry fruit. Strong hit of acid. Nice tension here between fruit and acid. Both are battling it out to the end.... Nice smooth long finish....
