Perhaps past its peak. Oak was pronounced flavor.

Strong flavor or oak and minerals. Not a lot of the typical citrus or grassy notes.

Pale yellow. Grapefruit, lemon pith, honey. More expansive on the viscous palate where it show grapefruit, honey, macadamia nut and richness. Long, saline and slightly bitter finish. Acid is properly supportive.

Light golden. Lovely crisp acidity, a touch of herbs. How nice to have a sb that does not pretend or try to be a cheap oversweet California Chardonnay.

Grass, melon and honey aromas. Balanced acid with grass and a hint of grapefruit. Nice finish. Pleasant chilled with a chopped salad.

Pale. Nose is grapefruit and gooseberry and grass. Sharp fruit and sharp acid. Seems unripe and rather shrill! Leave it over night. It did soften after 24 hrs but it is very aggressively fruity and herbaceous

Yellow in color, crisp on the palate with a citrus aftertaste, not great but very good

The "Generous Pour" Promotion at the Capital Grille (Capitalle Grille, Mpls, MN) : Light gold color. Small pour. The nose is pungent, cat pee, grapefruit, grassy. The palate is medium bodied with tart grapefruit, grass, almost a bit syrupy. Not my style of SB, very in your face and lacking finesse or minerality. If like a big NZ style you'll probably find this enjoyable.

Grass, lemon, honey, and tropical fruit notes with high acidity and good balance. Sonoma wine, but reminiscent of New Zealand. Recommended.

This straw-robed wine is a significant Sauvignon Blanc. It offers a nice combination of crisp citrus fruit, kiwi and field grasses, all adorned by a dollop of oak. Medium-bodied, it carries its freshness and well-integrated alcohol (13.5%) throughout a solid middle palate and lengthy finish. While not necessarily a favorite of those who prefer light-styled, un-oaked Sauvignon or those who favor heavily-oaked white wine offerings, this is a "baby bear" wine...just right. Drink now-2014.

Lite grapefruit, nice acidity, very enjoyable over the highly acidic NZ cousin.

Minor vegetal and grassy notes but it gets overpowered by the honeyed lemon notes. It's food friendly with Thai but on its own, it's a bit too fruit forward for me.
