Wow, amazingly aromatic! Dark black fruit followed by rounded tannins with wonderful structure and perfect acidity. The finish goes on and. Simply amazing! And for the record, this isn’t even their reserve! Wonderful last bottle.

Slightly past its prime. Slight fruit and earth on the nose. Medium bodied with a touch of cherry and earth tobacco and leather with little tannin bite.

At 9 years old, this wine still had plenty of life left in it. Fantastic wine that we'll be stocking up on.

Vegetal, decomposition earthy aromas upon first uncorking. With time some black fruit on the nose. On the palatte a full bodied, low acidity well balanced wine, complex, with chocolate covered cherries and coffee/ blueberry finish.

Opened at lunch and drank again at dinner and much later. This wine is awesome! It's dark, with really nice aromas and taste of black fruits, balanced oak and tannins. Sometimes you get a bottle that doesn't reflect the experience of the overall wine, usually not uo to standard. This bottle was the opposite. It was better than what others have experienced. I have 5 more and will see if my enthusiasm wanes as I drink my way through these.

Drank along side the 05 Maple Lane. KC preferred the Yates. for me the ML was the more well rounded wine.

Popped and let breathe. The fruit has dissipated a bit from the last bottle I had, but this is drinking very well right now - very much in balance. This was better than a bottle of tyhis we drank about a year ago. I wish I had a few more of these, but unfortunately I only have one more.

Purple with slight chocholate and mild heat on nose. Well integrated with subtle residual tannins and fruit sligtly muted but in nixw balance. Believe this is at or near prime. Would not hold much longer (at least in terms of the way this bottle has aged). Solid cab effort.

Very nice cab. Not tons of fruit on the palate. Hints of berries including blue and black. Decent finish with tannins still very present.

Some lightly oxidated qualities, often coupled with a fresh leather play. Both of these aromas are quite enjoyable to me. A nice BRET note that I enjoy in this case. Dark purple, blue and black fruits. Blackberries, blueberries some currant. Not a lot of red fruit notes. Some black rock and violets - other dark purple flowers. A very big wine. Completely coats the palate with a mammoth tannin structure. Finish is long with moderate high acidity, high tannins and …

Classic Frank Family cabernet, perfect all of the way around. Great california fruit-bomb, with good tannins and nice finish. Served 2 magnums at Czufin's as part of the 2010 Derby Party. Everyone loved the wine, even the professional chef brought in for the event. I wish I had more.

Nice. Deep ruby. Rutherford Cab nose, earthy, leather, dusty, dark blue/black fruit. Milk duds dipped in dark red fruit, chewy tannins, big sweet fruit finish, drys out the palate, love it, nice, mature ,time left, drinking great. Very similar as before with the black tea thing etc. Classic.

Very simple in its flavor. The tannins were lower than I expected for a six year bottle.

Wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon -- rich, concentrated, exhibiting layers of plums, black cherries, and blueberries that are well-balanced.

Same as previous TN's. Decent example of the NAPA grape.

Drank alongside the 2002, which is drinking beautifully right now. This was a bit green comparatively. Not bad, just not very good either. Perhaps it is in a dumb phase. We enjoyed our previous bottles of this much more.

Really enjoyed this one. These are just getting nice. Purple. Dark roasted fruits on the nose. Really good treatment of the fruit. Almost lie liquid blueberries on the palate, with some nice smoke. Cassis, black tea, good long finish. After some time I get a smashed Grape flavored Toostie Pop thing going. Cool. The shaved chocolate palate comes on. This is really nice.

Dark purple. Fruity & creamy on th nose. Nice clean cab, albiet a bit simplistic, decent value. Rich Cab fruit, that could almost be mistaken for a rich Merlot. Nicely made in an more old world style. A good value, and a better bet from FF than their reserve. Started to come unwound after a ew hours, oaky and drying.

Notes of black cherry, spice, blackberry and cassis, with a strong vanilla note toward the end of the bottle. Medium to full bodied, with plush tannins and red fruit tones filling out the midpalate and finish. 90-92 pts.

Juicy red currant flavors in a pure fruit sort of way, but left me wanting more as the mid palate seemed a little thin and the finish seemed a little hot. A very nice wine, just not one that hits on all cylinders. A slight step down from other vintages I have had of this wine. I would pass at the $40 price point.

Solid cab. All the attributes expected from this region. Just not worth the price tag.
