Perrier Jouet, Cuvee Reserve Rose

Gorgeous tawny colour with shiny rose hue. Caramel, brown sugar, pear, white flowers, herbal, grass. Sharp acidity, nice texture, spicy mid-palate, very precise and long mellow finish. Great weight. 93

Wonderfully mature nose with a lovely expression of butterscotch, elderflower, acacia flowers and chocolate that keeps on evolving over time. Palate is still showing fresh acidity and lots of mature red apples and the long finish shows a smooth honey like finish that is just perfect It feels surprisingly sweet for an Extra Brut, but still very good. 🍾Best 1993-2013 (but still very good!) 🏅94p
